"Call of the Night" Confirmed for Second Season
The popular anime series "Yofukashi no Uta" (known as "Call of the Night" in English) has officially received a second season.
The announcement was made during the Fuji TV Anime Lineup Press Conference 2024 on Monday, March 11, 2024.
The second season of "Yofukashi no Uta" will be broadcast on Fuji TV's Noitamina programming block and other channels.
However, the specific release date has not yet been revealed. To appease fans' anticipation, a key visual and the first PV for Season 2 have been released.
The first season of "Yofukashi no Uta" was produced by Liden Films and aired from July 8 to September 30, 2022, with a total of 13 episodes. The story is based on the manga series written and illustrated by Kotoyama (who is also the creator of the manga "Dagashi Kashi").

Synopsis:
Kou Yamori appears to be an ordinary high school student. Relatively good at studying and friendly with his classmates, he tries hard to maintain this good behavior.
One day, he experiences insomnia and decides to take a walk alone at night. At that time, he felt a little better, although he realized that his inability to sleep should be considered a serious problem.
While walking, Kou meets a strange girl named Nazuna Nanakusa, who diagnoses the cause of Kou Yamori's insomnia. Nazuna says that Kou will not be able to sleep unless he is satisfied with how he spends his waking hours.
Nazuna then decides to take Kou to her apartment to help him sleep soundly. Kou is surprised that they have to share a bed together, and even more surprisingly, when Kou pretends to be asleep, the girl, Nazuna Nanakusa, bites his neck. Kou then realizes that Nazuna is a vampire!
