The highly anticipated anime adaptation of the popular mobile game Blue Archive is set to premiere in April 2024, as announced in a recent live-stream celebrating the game's third anniversary.
Developed by Nexon, Blue Archive has garnered a substantial following since its initial release, leading to this exciting adaptation.
This announcement was accompanied by the release of a new promotional video (PV) showcasing the main characters from Abydos High School.
Fans will be delighted to see Hoshino (voiced by Yumiri Hanamori), Serika (Ayaka Oohashi), Ayane (Sayaka Harada), Nonomi (Chiyuki Miura), and the beloved Shiroko (Yui Ogura) brought to life. The anime will feature a re-arranged version of the game's theme song, "Constant Moderato," enhancing the overall experience.
The storyline of the anime is expected to cover the events of Volume 1 of the game, focusing on the daily lives of the students at Abydos. The Blue Archive game, first released in Japan in 2021 on iOS and Android platforms by Yostar, later saw an English version released by Nexon in 2022.
